Since 1990, Suncoast has provided scholarships to students in our communities seeking higher education. In 2005, Suncoast partnered with the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations to administer a new scholarship program that also includes a component providing grants and discretionary funds to teachers and principals.

In addition to $1,000 scholarships, teachers can apply for classroom grants to help pay for innovative programs not funded through tax dollars. Principals can also apply for a discretionary fund, which is designed to financially assist students in areas such as field trips, band or sports uniforms, insurance and basic needs.
