The Welch Brothers - It Started with the 2008 Tech Bowl

Judicieux and J’aiChaim Welch are taking advantage of all the CMG activities and programs. Over the past year, they have progressed from having very minimal computer knowledge to developing a Flash Video Game using Adobe software. Both teens are a shining example of self motivation, determination, and focused driven efforts. We know, their parents, Jim and Cynthia Welch, are very proud of them.
Back in September, 2008, Judicieux and J’aiChaim signed-up to participate in the Tech Bowl. They were motivated by the opportunity to win Toshiba laptop computers. Their team, sponsored by IT Authorities, was the 2008 Tech Bowl winner. They happily accepted the laptops awarded to each member of the team. Win or lose, they had both decided to remain in the CMG Teen Program.
Their efforts in the CMG teen program have proven to be rewarding. Both have recently been earned the Centiport IC3 Certification. This certification tested their basic knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft Office software, and computer utilities. Judicieux and J’aiChaim each received a refurbished Pentium 4 computer with Microsoft Office software.
The youths have chosen to continue their computer education at CMG. They have now enrolled in the CMG High Achievers Program. Their joint project is to develop a Flash Video Game. CMG staff and possibly other local IT professionals will assist them. They are responsible for the project goal, checkpoints, and programming. The CMG staff will monitor their progress. Judicieux and J’aiChaim have shown that they can accomplish all of their chosen goals. We are certain that they will develop the software in the allotted time.
J’aiChaim and Judicieux Welch
The brothers attend Middleton High School. J’aiChaim is a 9th grader and Judicieux is an 11th grader. They are Computer Technology students. Since Judicieux and J’aiChaim consistently display intelligence and motivation, we predict that they will jointly own a successful computer software development company.
CMG is very proud to contribute to Judicieux and J’aiChaim’s continuing computer education.
